  • 10% of the base rate for 3 years
  • Up to 4 points on a suspension calculation
  • 6 hours online, finish within 30 days

Wyoming County is south of Batavia and east of Erie County, with Warsaw as the seat and Perry and Attica as the other towns. US 20A and Route 19 do the local work. Many residents drive to Buffalo or Batavia. Those trips do not create a Wyoming County percentage.

How it works

  1. 1 Enroll at checkout The button opens American Safety Institute’s checkout. This site does not change that address.
  2. 2 Finish the 6-hour course DMV says the internet course includes 320 minutes of instruction and must be finished within 30 days.
  3. 3 Certificate, then your insurer The sponsor tells DMV. You give the paper certificate to your insurer. Points stay on your record.

Statewide rule, short version: a 10% reduction for three years in the base rate of your current automobile liability, no-fault, and collision premiums, if you are the principal operator. Up to 4 points come off DMV’s suspension math, not off the record. The full limits are on the 6-hour course page.

Roads that matter here

  • Route 19. It runs through Warsaw toward Le Roy and the Pennsylvania line. It is posted.
  • US 20A. An east–west road across the county toward Livingston County.
  • Route 98. A north–south route through Attica toward Batavia. Tickets stay on the record.

DMV office

The internet course does not require a trip to a DMV office. If you need an office for a permit, a license, or a driving record, search the NY DMV office finder for Wyoming County. Hours and which transactions an office handles change, so use that live list instead of a copied address.

What stays the same

Attica is known for the correctional facility. That does not change a civilian driving record. A ticket on Route 98 is still a New York conviction, and the course still does not erase it.

If you are 18 or older and still need a first New York license, that is the 5-hour pre-licensing course, not this one.

Questions for Wyoming County

Is Warsaw on a different point schedule from Buffalo?

No. Erie County and Wyoming County use the same DMV schedule. Up to 4 points can come off the suspension calculation. The conviction remains.

Does Wyoming County have its own course price?

No. This site links to one statewide checkout for the New York 6-hour internet course. American Safety Institute publishes the fee on its course page, and the checkout page shows the amount due. The DMV point and insurance rules do not change by county or city.
