DMV’s I-PIRP page says the internet course has the same benefits as the classroom course. It includes 320 minutes of instruction, may be taken in as many sessions as you need, and must be finished within 30 days of registration. The course has to be from a sponsor on the approved list.

  • American Safety is on that internet-sponsor list, at 111 Washington Avenue, Suite 606, Albany.
  • DMV lists that sponsor’s identity checks as keystroke analysis and personal and content questions.
  • You need a New York client ID for the completion to post to a New York license record.
  • Advertising must call the course 6 hours long.
