The Town of Babylon includes Babylon village, West Babylon, Deer Park, and Wyandanch along the south shore at the Nassau line. The Southern State Parkway and Sunrise Highway are the east–west roads. A short trip can cross into Nassau without anyone noticing. DMV notices the conviction, not the town sign.

Statewide rule, short version: a 10% reduction for three years in the base rate of your current automobile liability, no-fault, and collision premiums, if you are the principal operator. Roads that matter here

  • Southern State Parkway. It enters Suffolk in the town and runs east. It is posted.
  • Sunrise Highway. NY 27 across the south of the town. Tickets stay on the record.
  • Route 109. A local east–west road. The course does not dismiss tickets written on it.

What stays the same

Deer Park and West Babylon feed the parkway toward Queens. The insurance reduction does not get larger because the commute is painful. It stays 10% of the base rate for the principal operator.
